STRONG HEARTS NATIVE HELPLINE | NEED TO TALK? # 1-844-7NATIVE | CLICK TO ESCAPE
The purpose of the MMDRC Missing Persons Community Action Toolkit is to aid families through the process of locating a missing relative, how to work with law enforcement, mobilize a community search/rescue with emergency management agencies, and to improve communication between all the involved parties.
The ultimate goal is to bring our relatives home!
The complete toolkit is a large document and may contain some appendix that may not be needed due to the circumstances of your relative going missing. If you want to only download certain sections you can review it here and will find those sections broken up below.
About the 4.24.2024 version of this Toolkit: The 25th Navajo Nation Council Diné Action Plan included the development of an Missing and Murdered Diné Relative Taskforce, one of their action items being to develop a Missing Person Toolkit for all Navajo people. Our coalition partnered with the Taskforce to revise our Toolkit, below are some of the edits as of April 2024.
Here you will find downloadable sections of the Toolkit
