Diné Children/Community Safety

Operation: Diné School Safety

National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)

"At Operation Diné School Safety, we believe that every voice matters in keeping our schools safe. If you see something concerning or feel that a situation could pose a risk to our students, we encourage you to report it. Your contribution can make a significant difference by raising awareness of potential dangers and preventing incidents before they happen. Whether it’s suspicious behavior, a security concern, or anything that feels off, speaking up can protect our children and create a safer community for everyone. Together, we can take action to ensure that Navajo schools remain safe, supportive places for all students."

Operation Rainbow Bridge (ORB)

Navajo Division of Behavioral & Mental Health Services (NDBMHS)

"The name “Operation Rainbow Bridge” is inspired by Navajo cultural history that sees rainbows as paths of light traveled by warriors overcoming adversity. The Operation exemplifies a modern-day battle, utilizing social services, legal resources, and public safety personnel to assist Navajo citizens who have been victims of Medicaid fraud.  The Operation seeks to ensure a safe journey for our people away from dangerous facilities and toward reputable behavioral health centers or the loving arms of family."
